Description:

Family: Limacodidae. A type of slug moth. TL 14-22 mm. Dark brown with white spots. Host: Apple, blueberry, elm, oak, maple. With Rosy Maple Moth (Dryocampa rubicunda) and two other unknown moths possibly a Snout moth and geometer or carpet moth.

Habitat:

Eastern USA (Poconos, PA) near woodlands
