Eastern Tent Caterpillar Moth (Male)

Notes:

This is the moth of Malacosoma americanum, which is the adult form of the much more common Eastern Tent Caterpillar. They are characterized by fawn-colored wings, more brown in the case of a male, and more yellow in the case of a female. Spotted in Gray, Maine during vacation. Came to light.
