Cosmopterigid Moth

Macrobathra chrysotoxa

Description:

A small moth with distinctive banding of brown and pale yellow and a wing span of 20 mm. The large brown patch in the middle of the fore wings showed a small pale patch on each side.
Labial palps were re-curved. antennae were swept back and legs showed banding.

Habitat:

Spotted on black wattle in a park.
