Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle

Description:

Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles (Tortuga Lora) morning release by Sea Turtle Inc. at South Padre Island . These turtles are a grey-blackish color and turn white as they develop.Hatching season lasts through August. Very neat experience!

Habitat:

These turtles prefer shallow coastal regions, lagoons, and bays. According to Sea Turtle Inc. website their habitat of choice is based on entanglement with fishing nets, hooks, and debris.
