Chelonia mydas
The carapace of the turtle has various color patterns that change over time. Hatchlings of C. mydas, like those of other marine turtles, have mostly black carapaces and light-colored plastrons.
Extends throughout tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide.
Spotted at the Maritime Aquarium. It was difficult to get an image that wasn't blurry since it kept moving in poor lighting!
