Description:

Sixspotted Orbweaver spiders have eight similar eyes, legs hairy or spiny and no stridulating,or sound producing organs. Visible spots on the abdomen give a Sixspotted Orbweaver spider a unique identity in the large family of Orb-weaver spiders. Sixspotted Orbweaver Spiders make spiral wheel-shaped webs.

Habitat:

Gardens, fields and forests.

Notes:

This Sixspotted Orbweaver spider and web was spotted on a Rhododendron bush.
