Hello, spotter! I hope you left this bird out where you found it. Many people think that baby birds are abandoned when they see them foraging out in the yard. This is not true. The parents are keeping a close eye on them and may just be waiting for you to leave, so they can feed them.
I'm not saying taking care of a baby bird is wrong, simply stating that the bird will be safe and happier with its parents.
