Question Mark

Polygonia interrogationis

Description:

Tiger-patterned on the top of the wings moving into a darker color on the bottom of the wings.

Habitat:

This tiger-patterned butterfly was actually spotted at the Bronx Zoo. Amusingly, it had landed on a rock at the entrance of the tiger exhibit.

Notes:

Although this was spotted at the zoo, it was not part of an exhibit.
