Asclepias tomentosa
Its stalks are rounded and can grow up to three feet by summer. The leaves are fuzzy in texture. The flowers are a greenish white and not to showy. Yet they attract the same pollinators as the other milkweeds.
This specimen was observed at a County nature preserve along one of the trails. It was in fairly sandy soil; and a cover of mostly Oak trees yet w/ a good exposure to sunlight.
