Description:

This is one of the rarest wild birds in the world, it is estimated that only 8 wild Bali Starlings still occur in their natural habitat and this bird is one of them. Photographed in Bali Barat National Park. Its numbers have plummeted due to trapping for the cage bird trade and habitat destruction.
