Your squirrel should be placed in the mammal category, your American Robin, into the bird category. Each different spotting needs to be in its correct category, and put up with only photos of the same species. For example you can have several photos of your squirrel as one spotting, and then as another spotting you can have one or more photos of your robin.

Jenna, your spotting would be of an Eastern Gray Squirrel. The scientific name for this is the Sciurus carolinensis. I hope that as time passes you can provide many new spottings from both Cedarburg, other areas of Washington County, the State of Wisconsin and beyond. I am confident that in time you will begin to know and id many of your own spottings as well.
