Passion Butterfly

Agraulis vanillae maculosa

Description:

Passion Butterfly opening its wings for the first time and being cute. I've read that males have less black spots on their wings than females so this is probably a male.

Habitat:

Garden, open country.

Notes:

I named him Fly. I've been taking care of him since he was a caterpillar and today my child flew away.
