Description:

distinctive long snout, the beetle is about half an inch in length, black, covered with yellow dust

Habitat:

rose garden, urban

Notes:

I spotted this at Table Rock while working. I brought it home, photographed and released. It was the first time I've seen a weevil this size.

I grow a lot of Rhubarb. Not commercially,organically and just for fun, and I like it in pie and what-not. Never saw a Weevil like this before here in New Jersey, but I'll be on the lookout now!
