Description:

A mottled leaf beetle with typical black tubercules over its back. Not typical is the bright red colors and the paler orange skirt along the rim of the beetle projecting at an angle from the declivity of the elytra. A large beetle. Two were seen. Not seen it before.

Habitat:

On manna gum saplings in a clearing beside state forest.
