Cucumaria miniata
Aka the Red sea cucumber. Cucumaria miniata has orange bushy tentacles it uses to capture detritus and plankton. They strategically wedge their body in a crevice where they can spread their tentacles.
Spotted in a tide pool at Tongue Point.
Cucumaria miniata can be found from northern Alaska to northern Mexico.

Thanks for your kind words Neil. Sea cucumbers are really strange. They can attach to a substrate and they can move around as well.
That is the weirdest creature! So it's more like an anemone than a slug, seeing it's fixed to the substrate? Awesome spotting, Brian. You find such amazing things!
