Morinda citrifolia
Shrub or small tree to 20 feet. Fruit is ovoid, lumpy, compound, about 2 in. In diameter, individual segments outlined, each with a raised central scar, becoming light green to yelliw and soft when ripe.
Native to India, it has naturalized on the island.
Flowers yield a red dye and the root a yellow dye. Leaves have been used to treat pain, wounds, swelling, and headaches. Extracts from the fruit are sold as Noni, which is the polynesian name for the plant.

Should be noted though that the ripe fruit has a horrible odor.
Introduced to Hawaii, now it grows wild everywhere. The juice can be used internally and externally for many ailments including inflammation. fruit is high in flavonoids, coumarins, iridoids and vitamin C. Noni shots in the morning, great start to the day! :)
