The Megachilidae family is quite numerous. They are bees of solitary life, build their nests with pieces of leaves and vegetable remains or use holes in trunks. Bees of this family are found with high frequency, mainly in open areas. Frequent visitors of the flowers of Asteraceae and Fabaceae, the genus Megachile is the most diverse of the group
