Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog

Litoria fallax

Description:

Small dainty frog, usually shades of green with white underside markings and colour, sometimes appears dusted with flecks of gold and salt and pepper, often heard amongst foliage just before rain, has a very high pitched 'creaky' call. Eats small insects and spends most of its time hiding in plant foliage.

Habitat:

Found throughout eastern Australia.
