Project Noah is a tool to explore and document wildlife and a platform to harness the power of citizen scientists everywhere.
I think the biggest difference is where they're found. I couldn't find a good range map, but it seems that occidentalis is only seen in the west.
I think Shane has the correct ID. I wasn't 100% sure.
