Black shell, orange belly with black spots. Ridge down center of top shell, and a spot on each section of the edge.
Found on the beach walking across the sand. Another was found in the stream (very close to the beach) by another couple.
It wasn't fearful of us holding it, kept his head and legs out.
Thank you Neil, may I ask what indications lead you to believe this lil guy is a Diamondback?
