I was helping on a research project in the Amazon on Neotropical tree squirrels. We had found this nest (lower left corner) the previous day, so I set up before dawn to see who emerged from the nest. To our surprise 6 squirrels exited the nest, including this adult (on right) and the juvenile (on left).
