Description:

The common name, "walleye", comes from the fact that the fish's eyes point outward, as if looking at the walls. In medicine, the term "walleyed" (as opposed to "cross-eyed")is used to refer to lateral strabismus, where the pupil deviates outward.

They're very similar, but I never knew they were different species. This is either a Zander on holiday or a Walleye... Haha

I just looked it up. It's not a Zander because Zander's are native to Europe. So i guess Walleye's and Zander's are different fish. So i guess there is a difference between them. This is where I found the info: http://www.michiganforums.com/forum/show...

It looks like a Zander, I think over in the USA you call them Walleye?
