Callospermophilus lateralis
A chipmunk-like ground squirrel of the mountain west, common at campgrounds. Larger than chipmunks, and lacks the facial stripes that characterize those smaller squirrels; bold white stripe along sides, bordered by black, with creamy lower sides.
