Orchard Spider

Leucage venusta

Description:

This small spider has a yellow and black checkered abdomen and green legs.

Habitat:

My porch

Notes:

This produces at spiral orb patterned web on top with additional webs below. These other webs lack the spiral pattern and give the web mass lots of depth. These spiders appear to prefer clinging to the underside of their webs. Of the 3 I found around my house, none of them were on top of the web, so all the pictures I took are actually of the underside of the spider.

I think it is an Orchard Spider. Im pretty confident with that maybe you would like to look into the Orchard Spider. How big was the web and what shape was it?
