This little guy is so small! It measured about 1/8" wide!!! I was lucky to see it at all. From afar, it looked like a white dot on the leaf.

I will take both of your advice and remove the name of this spotting.
I would also say it is some kind of a planthopper or derbid hopper.
It sure could be J. However, I have not seen any hoppers in my area with antennae yet.
It actually looks like a hopper to me, the facial appearance looks much like a hopper.

By the way, wonderful spotting. This is a really pretty little insect.
I would bet that this is actually a species of Whitefly, Family Aleyrodidae. They resemble moths and are quite tiny.
