Description:

It is a medium sized butterfly with orange and black patterns on the front and silver ted and black on the back.This butterfly was a female laying eggs on some passion vine.

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Texas, Fort Worth

Notes:

This species os found in most of the Americas but very common in the gulf states.
