Description:

This was taken outside my old High school where my brother goes. They are one of the most iconic of Texas or more broadly Southern plants in the US. They produce small sided seeds that are smooth and brown and are pretty tasty when made into Pecan Pie or by themselves are pretty good too.

Habitat:

wooded areas. or planted by humans on flower bed establishments or housing developments.

It would be great if you could add closeup shots of bark, leaves, flowers, fruits etc. Hard to tell what it looks like in this pic. We don't have them here.
