Description:

About 5mm long, orange with black legs and head; elytra and thorax are orange with a black patch at the tip and a black line running from the head to about half way down the elytra. Proportionally small head. Perhaps a Lycid mimic?

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
