Description:

The Brown-patched Kangaroo lizard is also called Wiegmann's Agama or Sri Lankan Kangaroo Lizard . Commonly seen in the undergrowth with which it blends in perfectly - or on a clearing or where it can be seen sunning itself .when threatened, the fellow scurries away quickly on its large hind legs and either goes up a tree or creeper , or may hide itself in the undergrowth / natural shelters such as under rocks or under tree trunks.
