Golden-crowned Kinglet

Regulus satrapa

Description:

A hyperactive little bird with a grey-olive back, paler chest, and bright yellow crest. Golden-crowned kinglets are roughly the size of a hummingbird and can be spotted in tree tops, darting about to feast on insects.

Habitat:

GC Kinglets usually live in coniferous forests, but this little guy stayed in some trees near a residential area for 2-3 weeks.
