Green Iguana

Iguana iguana

Description:

Its a large, arboreal herbivorous species of lizard of the genus Iguana native to Central and South America.

Habitat:

Found this juvenile in a country house near my hometown.

Notes:

Even when wild Iguanas are very popular around warm cities in Colombia, some of them are victims of the illegal pet trade.
