Spotting

Description:

A night walk along the bushes will provide interesting macro subjects. I have seen the fruit piercing moth on many occasions, and have seen the feeding only once. That was amazing! Got to see feeding behavior of 2 individual moths. One is pictured here. The other also looked similar but cant say whether they belong to same species or not. This is not the common fruit piercing moth(moth with orange hind wings) Moths are even more fascinating than the butterflies. Experts say for every butterfly there are 10 moths in the world. The ratio may be even more. Also there is a misconception that moths are active only at night. It is not. There are moths that are active at day as well. Each species has its own time.
