Common Milkweed

I believe you are correct Courtney, the flowers tend to lighten in color as they open.

Looks very similar. A deeper red and much tighter clusters than what I see in my area.

Can anyone verify if this spotting is Common Milkweed? Hard to tell as the flowers have not yet opened.
