Description:

Adult Male Tick near dry spring. Picked up while hiking through xero-riparian brush. I have seen them before & assessed they are bighorn sheep specialist, since I've never had one embed into me.

Habitat:

Xero-riparian, dry spring, Colorado Desert,3400'. Baccharis dominant shrub.

Notes:

On pant leg, but after photo, it dropped off on its own.
