White Mushroom

Description:

Mushroom was about 2 inches tall and the only one I saw in this area, It looked like a little porcelain figurine. You can see where I touched it with my finger to find out if it was real.

Habitat:

This is a dry scrub area in the Hal Scott preserve dominated by saw palmetto, pines and a few oaks.

Notes:

The area had a control burn and the leaves under the mushroom seemed to be only slightly charred.
