It is most commonly sighted in the summer, when it is considered a major pest of several human cultures, such that the eucalyptus, orange, guava, guava, jatropha, cashew and acerola. Like all Hemiptera, have oral pick-sucking device, using it to suck the sap inside the fruits and stems, and may transmit diseases to the plant or cause abortion plant organ by depletion of nutrients. However, they are only really harmful if they attack the plant in a large number of individuals, so there is no need to kill the animal as soon as the come.

Habitat:

Despite looking like a beetle, it is a bug. This species is distributed throughout the American continent, and has been scientifically cataloged eight times due to different patterns of your body that confused scientists. This insect tones varies in scutella (top of the body) and colors number of spots. But despite all the differences, this species in South America is one, and the brown color with red spots is the predominant.

Notes:

This bug was found in a plant, a foot Boldo, on the sidewalk of the block from my house.     Brought it home to take pictures and put it in my vase of hibiscus, but the next day he was gone,     took wing and flew.
