Blue Jay

Cyanocitta cristata

Habitat:

Found in all kinds of forests but especially near oak trees; they’re more abundant near forest edges than in deep forest. They’re common in urban and suburban areas, especially where oaks or bird feeders are found.

Notes:

Mostly staying inside the house here in South Florida due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Took this photo of a visitor to my porch and small garden. A Blue Jay drinking water from my bromeliads. Taken through living room window.
