Yellow Spiny Orbweaver

Gasteracantha

Description:

This spider is extremely cool, it's nothing like i've ever seen before. It is a mixture between black and yellow coloured. It has very skinny looking legs, also with a lot of spikes on it's body, the tips of the spikes all look rather black. The "shell" of the body looks to be really hard, but it's undetermined. The shape of this spider as seen on the zoomed out photo is large circle looking, and making it look really full and not have a body figure. Its actually really small in real life, it's probably as big as your thumb nail, or about 1 inch estimated.

Habitat:

SAS is a Secondary Rainforest. SAS is located in Singapore, which is a tropical habitat.
