Looked like a dusting of snow had fallen on its wings. Poor moth was quite injured! Not sure what the poor thing could have been attacked by!

Thanks, ForestDragon! I thought the WSM was the only pure white moth. Little did I know! Thanks, you are absolutely right. I knew it couldn't be WSM, but that was the closest description! Thanks again!

More likely a Snowy Geometer - Eugonobapta nivosaria:

Note the shape of the hindwings. White Spring Moths are more rounded.
