Yellow Margin Triggerfish

Pseudobalistes flavimarginatus

Description:

This Yellow margin Triggerfish - Pseudobalistes flavimarginatus can grows up to the size of 60cm, has tan body with dark spots and crosshatch patterns, pale orangish snout and cheeks to orange margins on fins. Solitary, nest in sand and corral rubbles. They can get very aggressive when brooding their eggs and have been known to attack divers when divers swims too near to them. They have very sharp teeth and that can cause some serious bites.

You were right. it was coming after me and I had to back off to avoid getting bitten. Had experienced that before and it was very very painful!
