I was thrilled to see this guy back again today & be able to get a few more photos. Check out photo #4 - you can see a big drop of nectar on its proboscis!

Thanks Lars! It was a very vivid shade of green but actually well camouflaged amongst the stems of the plant.

This is the first I've seen here Cindy - & it didn't hang around long enough for me to get great shots. Hopefully it will be back!
Thanks Jacob - we are really blessed with butterflies here - I think over 50 different species at the last count!
