Description:

It's a uncommon and beautiful bird, 13 cm large and makes a sharp "chip". In Costa Rica, this bird it's called "Siete Colores" which means seven colors cause all the magnifiscents colors that presents.

Habitat:

North American migrant on Pacífic slope and in western Central Valley, from late October to early April, to 1300 m. Found in thickets and lower levels of second growth.
