Hourglass Treefrog

Dendropsophus ebraccatus

Description:

Small, yellow frog with dark eyes.

Habitat:

Spotted at night in a Costa Rican jungle just inland from the Caribbean coastline. Wet, humid area with a stream nearby.

Notes:

This frog didn't appreciate me getting closer, and was high up on a tree trunk so unfortunately I could not get a good picture of its back.
