Description:

This field mouse climbing and munching on spotted touch-me-not, also referred to as common jewelweed. It was both eating the developing seeds and also licking up some of the fresh dew on the flowers.

Habitat:

The deer mouse was in a field with a combination of joe pie weed, goldenrod, invasive rose bush, and also common jewelweed. Young immature ash and cherry trees were also present.
