Grass Moth

Agriphila plumbifimbriella

Description:

These can be quite ubiquitous during summer nights in Alberta; however, I do not know the common name for them. So, if you know of one... please, share it! Their wings can become quite compact, and do not lay horizontally like many other moths making them slightly more difficult to spot.

Notes:

My camera isn't quite appropriate for minimal-lighting photography, and I don't know why the photo turned out so small... Maybe it had something to do with the settings?

Look in the Crambidae family, the common name for them are "grass moths". Here's one I found in Tasmania: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/547...
