Acronicta rumicis
The Knot Grass is a moth of the family Noctuidae. The adults fly at night from May to September and are easily attracted to light. The larvae feed on a range of herbaceous plants such as sorrel, plantain, dune rose, hop, blackberry, willow and hawthorn.
Found in almost all habitats. In the mountains they rise up to 1500 m above sea level.
