Acanthacris ruficornis

Description:

Large (body length 65 mm) with midline cream stripe down dark brown thorax and wings. Hind tibiae have well developed white and red spines. Hind wings pale lemon.

Habitat:

Found on bushes or trees in open ground, but also in gardens. Absent from very arid areas.
