it could also be a hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) . I will let an expert take this.

yup it's a young turtle.. the shell is about 25cm long

Would say a Kemp Ridley's but that still doesn't have the spiney look to it as much as your photo. Is that a young turtle?
