Description:

Approximately 1 meter long. Spotted at 8:45pm crossing a dirt road. Previously in the genus Masticophis which has recently been combined with Coluber.

Habitat:

Over grazed Shortgrass prairie

Fantastic spotting Cameron! The coachwhip has always eluded me. I've never seen one in the wild.
