Beautiful small birds which seem to move in big flocks gathering seeds around the place. In the first picture, as its head is black, it is a hooded siskin male; females' heads are lighter, sort of yellowish greyish. It sings lovely too; adding some extra beauty to its delightful natural habitat.
It can be found all over South América. This one in particular was spottend in winter in the snowy andean region of "Villa la Angosutra" in the province of Neúquen, Argentina.
